Join us on the hill for Advocacy Day!
Advocacy Day is a place where PTA Members and others alike can come together to talk about important issues for our kids and education system. We will meet with State Educational Leaders who have an impact on decision-making for our educational system, children, and our children’s future.
You’re invited to join us at the Idaho PTA "Day on the Hill" on January 21, 2025, at the Capitol Building in Boise! This is your chance to connect with legislators, discuss key education issues, and let your voice be heard for Idaho kids.
We have an incredible lineup of speakers addressing important topics, including:

11:15 AM: Kevin Cook, District 32 Representative – Parent Tech Awareness Bill
11:30 AM: Representatives Discussing Upcoming Initiatives
12:00 PM: Lunch & Networking
1:30 PM: Quinn Perry, Idaho School Boards Association – Legislative Preview
2:00 PM: Greg Wilson, Chief of Staff for Superintendent Critchfield – Idaho Graduation Requirements Update
2:30 PM: Sonia Galaviz, District 16 Representative – Eyes on Education: Testifying for Change
3:00 PM: Attend the Senate Education Committee
3:30 PM: Final Discussion with Take-Aways
This event is open to all parents and will include opportunities to mingle with representatives, senators, and Idaho PTA Advocacy Committee members.
