Outstanding Educator & Student of the Year – 2017 Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for the 2017 Idaho PTA Outstanding Educator & Student Awards.

Nominations must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2017.

Idaho PTA – Outstanding Educator Award  

GOAL OF AWARD To recognize an outstanding Idaho educator who demonstrates professional excellence and commitment to the Objects of PTA.

WHO SHOULD YOU NOMINATE A local unit may recognize a local educator with a nomination for this award.

  • Team teachers may not be jointly nominated.
  • Nominees must be currently employed.
  • Nominees may be educators for any grade, preschool through 12th grade.
  • An educator who has been nominated previously may be re-nominated.
  • Individuals who have received the Idaho PTA Outstanding Educator may not be re-nominated.
  • Preferably, the educator should be a current PTA member.

THE AWARD From the nominations received by the Idaho PTA state office by the deadline, March 10 of each year, one individual will be selected to be recognized as the state recipient of the award. The winner of the award will be honored at the Idaho PTA convention (April 7,8 in Pocatello, ID).

Idaho PTA – Outstanding Student Award

GOAL OF AWARD To recognize outstanding Idaho students who represent values of the PTA.

WHO SHOULD YOU NOMINATE A local unit may recognize a local student who is outstanding in education, volunteerism and/or talents.

  • These outstanding qualities should be a reflection of your PTA school.
  • The student should belong to a PTA school.

THE AWARD From the nominations received by the Idaho PTA state office by the deadline, March 10 of each year, up to four students will be selected to be recognized as one of Idaho PTA Outstanding Students. The winners of the award will be honored at the Idaho PTA convention (April 7,8 in Pocatello, ID)
