National PTA Resources

Academics & Student Success

Parents Guide to Student Success

Parent Guides

Developed by teachers, parents and education experts for grades K-8.  The guides provide clear, consistent expectations for what students should be learning at each grade level in order to be prepared for college and career.
Assessments Guides

State Assessment Guides

National PTA has created custom, state by state Assessment Guides for parents in states that have adopted the Common Core State Standards.

Arts & Culture

A campaign that celebrates diversity and strengthens inclusion in PTAs, schools and communities. Throughout the year, National PTA shares messages about what makes each child special and unique, as well as educates PTA and school leaders about the challenges and barriers that may hinder some children from learning.

Health & Safety

Learn the strategies of maintaining a student’s health.  Obesity prevention, emotional health, hunger, substance abuse, chronic conditions and clean water are taken into consideration. Healthy students are absent less often, experience fewer behavior problems and have an easier time learning while at school.

Safety is a crucial component of effective learning and a key concern for all parents. Find resources of the variety of risks students face, including bullying, unintentional injuries and violence.
Allergies & Anaphylaxis

Allergies & Anaphylaxis

What parents and schools can do to create a safer learning environment for students with severe allergies. This program is designed to empower parents on emergency response, be informed on how to prepare kids with severe allergies, and educate parents of kids without severe allergies on anaphylaxis risks in schools.
